Our mission is to amplify the voices of these trailblazers, equipping them with the tools, partnerships, and advocacy they need to create innovative, effective and culturally responsive learning environments for our children.

NABML is the nation’s leading organization dedicated to supporting Black educators in launching, growing, and sustaining microschools. We believe in the power of small, community-based education to provide the individualized attention, flexibility, and culturally relevant learning that traditional public schools often lack.
What We Do
We are a movement of change-makers. Through research, policy advocacy, and community collaboration, we strive to increase access to high-quality microschools in Black communities. We help Black founders grow their schools by providing:

- Partnerships & Resources: Access to curriculum, professional development, and operational support to build and sustain effective microschools.
