Who can join the National Association of Black Microschool Leaders (NABML)?
Membership is open to anyone passionate about advancing Black-led microschools, including microschool founders, educators, community advocates, and supporters of education reform. We welcome leaders from across the U.S. who share our vision for creating equitable educational opportunities for Black founders.
How does NABML support microschool founders?
We offer a wide range of resources to help Black microschool founders succeed. These include professional development, networking opportunities, access to research and best practices, advocacy for legislation, and partnerships that provide discounted rates on curriculum and materials. Our goal is to unify and empower Black microschool leaders.
How do I start a microschool?
Starting a microschool requires planning, passion, and commitment. NABML provides guidance on essential steps such as curriculum development, legal requirements, securing funding, and building a community of learners. As a member, you'll have access to our comprehensive resources, webinars, and mentorship programs to help you along the way.
How can I become a member of NABML?
Joining is simple! Visit our Membership Page, fill out the membership application, and select the plan that best suits your needs. Once your application is reviewed, you’ll receive a welcome packet with all the details to get started.
Can I attend NABML events if I’m not a member?
Yes! Many of our events are open to the public, especially those focused on raising awareness and education about microschooling. However, members receive exclusive access to certain workshops, training sessions, and networking opportunities. Check our Facebook Group Page for more details.
