Nicole Stewart-Jones is the visionary Founder of the National Association of Black Microschool Leaders (NABML). With nearly two decades of experience as a public school teacher and private school administrator, Nicole has dedicated her career to creating equitable and innovative educational opportunities for Black students. Recognizing the need for transformative change in education, she launched NABML to empower educators, homeschool parents, and community leaders to establish and sustain microschools that meet the unique needs of their communities. Nicole’s passion lies in turning challenges into opportunities, fostering environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Rachelle Noble – Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships
Rachelle is the founder of Microschool Solutions, a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting both new and established microschools. She brings a unique blend of vision and empathy, describing herself as a soul-seer and awakener, deeply committed to helping others unlock their full potential. A proud mother of three teenagers, Rachelle has spent years as a teacher and coach in a variety of educational settings, gaining a wealth of experience and insight into the diverse needs of students and educators. She is passionate about empowering individuals to create educational spaces that truly meet the needs of their communities. Beyond education, Rachelle’s greatest passion is helping both adults and children discover the self-love and confidence that took her decades to cultivate in herself. Her work is a testament to her belief in the power of love, education, and community to transform lives.
Rasheeda Denning – Director of Events & Programming
Rasheeda Denning is a trailblazer in the world of homeschooling, known for her innovative spirit and dedication to education. As a wife, mother of eight, and grandmother of two, Rasheeda is a dynamic force, unafraid to challenge the status quo. She is a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a Paratrooper and Combat Medical Specialist during the Persian Gulf War, and currently holds the distinction of being the first female Post Commander of American Legion Orange Baker Post 187 in DeLand, Florida. In her personal life, Rasheeda’s commitment to family and education shines through her 26-year homeschooling journey. Rasheeda continues to inspire and lead, leaving a lasting impact on every community she touches.
